Where to put it

On a clean, dry, smooth glass window, at the window your cat already sits at. The maker says to clean and dry the glass, fix the suction cups to the board, press the lower and upper cups onto the window, then add the cushion. They also suggest soaking the suction cups in warm water for 3–5 minutes first, and say set-up takes about 10 minutes.
